Rantings?

Phew, now that I've created a separate blog for my Photographs, I'm back to ranting over here!!! Hooray!

First of all, I feel so down lately, nothing ever goes smooth for me recently.

For one, I'm having a lot of problems trying to move into my new house. This house, which I have invested heavily, mainly for the unifi installation and some new furniture; suddenly decides to turn its back on me!

The water pump, which was installed by the building management, decided to fail on me. I've wasted time driving into unchartered territory of Pudu electronic market to salvage a replacement part for the pump. Only to find out later that the pump itself has failed, with the melting fan and stuff. (Should have taken pictures)

So there goes my wasted effort.

But wait, some weird electrical short circuit caused my dear (3rd wife) computer to fail. Damn I just spent lots of money on it, and now I have to get it fixed. Besides that some of the household electrical appliances has fried as well, at the time when I needed them most.

Oh well, problems are problems, and when problems can be solved with money, it ain't a problem no more. That does not imply that I'm rich, because as of now I'm having problem coping with all these emergency cash outflow, I'm fucked.

Reminds me, I gotta to pay my mobile phone bill, the new online banking system is fucking with me.

All these occurrences has brought my spirit to a record low, but fear not. The only way to fight depression is to do some simple stuff, which might bear result. So here I come, home media pc based on Ubuntu.

I hereby declare that, I will stop ranting on my blog.

Mainly because it could be used for other great purposes. OH life progresses.

Tricor Annual Dinner 2009

20th Nov last Friday was my company’s Annual Dinner. We just merged with this company so this is basically my first time meeting all the other colleagues, which could be exciting.

It’s exciting because they have a theme this year and the theme is Masquerade Night. To add on to the excitement, my boss sent my name in for the Pageant contest which serves no other purpose than to ridicule us participants for the amusement of other staffs.

Not going to spoil the mood, I went on and rented a costume from a nice old costume shop in Sri Hartamas. Before it started I was afraid that I’m the only cheapo in the list that went on ahead to get costumes just to get the rumoured RM1000 cash prize. (In actual you have to win in all 3 categories to get RM600).

Well, there it goes. I didn’t win anything because it seems that I’m not the only one who wanted the prize and there are people who are willing to go much further than I did.

I was in a costume, but I didn’t take the effort to ridicule myself :p. That explains it, I lost; but with dignity.

But anyway, the highlight of the night is that I was able to take a lot of photos, and I don’t have to pay for them. :D

Malacca Makan Marathon

I’m usually against day trips where the traffic would be bad. But this was quite a good trip.

We managed to visit 11 different shops in Malacca for a non-stop 12 hours food journey which only costs RM 70+ per person, including fuel and tolls charges from KL to Malacca.
